1. Everything is going to be okay.

Whatever problems life throws at you, know that everything is going to be okay. There are no problems that have no solutions. Most often, people overthink problems, which leads to them not seeing the solution. Of course, there are problems that are too heavy that a quick fix will not solve. But with time and effort, solutions arise and problems go away. You may not see things clearly for now; but eventually, everything will be okay.

2. Let go.

Starting the day right means greeting it with an open heart and an open mind, so it’s important to let go of negativity. Take the opportunity to welcome a new day without unnecessary baggage. Your previous work mishap? Let it go. You got into a small fight with your parents? Let it go. Your crush recently got engaged? Let it go. Breathe in and let it go. By doing so, you will feel the instant relief of having the weight of your problems off your shoulders.

3. It’s time to forgive.

Aside from letting go of problems, the start of a new day is also the best time to let go of anger and resentment. Forgive people who have hurt you. Holding on to grudges affects you more than it will affect them. But most importantly, you have to forgive yourself—every single day. Forgive yourself for making mistakes, for lacking courage, for being mean, and for not meeting your own expectations. You’ll learn that waking up to a new day won’t be as hard as when you haven’t forgiven yourself from yesterday’s mistakes.

4. A new day equals new opportunities.

Take the opportunity to seize new beginnings. As cliché as it sounds, a new day brings about new hope. Most people would like to have a chance to go back in time and do things differently. But those fail to notice the beauty of a new day. You may not get to the chance to erase the past, but you do get a chance to start doing things differently. All you need to do is grab it.

It’s hard to get up from bed knowing that there are responsibilities to face. Be kind to others, and most especially, to yourself. You have to realize that you are a good person. No one does something out of bad intentions. Being kind to others will help you get through the day. Whilst, being kind to yourself will help you get through life. Our perspective of others and of ourselves define how we go about through each day. Sometimes, people forget that they are good.

Not everyone wakes up looking glamorously fab like Beyonce, but everyone wakes up beautiful. This is simply because you are beautiful. Whether, it’s a Monday, your birthday or a stormy day, you will wake up beautiful. People often need to remind themselves how much beautiful they are. And believe me, once you’ve acknowledged your beauty, you’ll see that the day seems brighter.

The best feeling in the world is the feeling of being loved. And that doesn’t mean JUST romantically. Knowing that you are loved by your family, friends, co-workers, and other people in your life is an instant perk up for your mornings. Actually, scratch that, it’s an instant perk up for any time of the day. Through all the bad things that happened and all the mistakes you’ve made, you are loved. And that’s something to be happy about.
